Steamforged Games have announced that it will partner with developers Jagex for the purpose of bringing RuneScape to OSRS GP tabletops later this year. The MMORPG will get not one, but two new tabletop versions: a board game and a tabletop RPG game. The board game will go live on Kickstarter at some point in the year while the tabletop RPG will be available in stores immediately.

Both games will draw inspiration from the fantasy world of RuneScape, Gielinor. They will make use of various characters and adventures, and places of the MMORPG has made famous in its lengthy history. The board game will send five to six players on quest-based adventures through the land of Gielinor.

The official press announcement from Steamforged gamers are expected to "craft and upgrade their equipment upgrade their characters, cook special recipes, engage with NPCs and test their talents while exploring various regions of the globe". As with the MMO, players will come across side-quests to complete the world of the game.

While the TTRPG will be comprised of the most beautiful and illustrated core book filled with the necessary information required by players to run a RuneScape TTRPG. With it, players can build their own characters and set off to the realm of Gielinor to embark on buy RS gold "unique and exciting quests".
