Technology has no longer been a problem. It's not hard to observe how businesses are stealing privacy information and capturing data without being transparent about what they are doing. There are also tools like personal assistants, which record us without our permission. There are frequent breaches that can expose private information. But is this really bad? While we may be concerned about the negative aspects of these tools, they can help us live our lives more easily. From making doctors more accessible to patient information to digital bus routes that improve efficiency and transport efficiency and connecting doctors to medical care more effectively. Let's face it, the main point is this: Technology isn't necessarily a good thing or a negative thing. It's how it's used.

What are the pros and cons of collecting information?

A few weeks back about Big Tech acquiring large amounts of health data to build a platform that allows healthcare providers to search patient records. This will allow health care providers to access more thorough patient records. This would allow for better care and improve outcomes. But, Big Tech may use the data without the knowledge or consent of the people.

These discussions reach beyond healthcare technology. AI has become an integral part of our lives. It affects our social media feeds and our daily commute with traffic recommendations. It also checks our bank transactions for fraudulent transactions. Concerns are raised regarding how AI can use the data they possess and what it can affect them (e.g. facial recognition, which could put our lives under surveillance for the duration of the time). However, AI can also improve life for many--from helping people with disabilities communicate, to improving food production and wildlife monitoring.

Do the potential advantages of these technologies outweigh the negative effects?

Technologies built around gathering data could be used to improve your life with the right rules. However, it is a question of whether there's a push for these regulations that holds groups who violate these regulations--and people's privacy--accountable.
