Ford is now introducing the new and stylish Tourneo Connect. Its practical and flexible seats appeal to both the large family and companies that need a spacious car. The new Ford Tourneo Connect can be reserved from the summer of 2022.

The all-new Tourneo Connect is the first model in Ford's new and exciting generation of Tourneo passenger cars. We have taken the qualities that our customers already value as our starting point, and then we have raised them to a new level. As a result, the new Ford Tourneo Connect is a car ready for any challenge, whether to use the vehicle for work or pleasure, says Hans Schep, general manager, Ford Pro, Ford Europe.

Tourneo Connect's advanced petrol and diesel engines also meet a wide range of customer needs with its new four-wheel drive and automatic transmission. It also comes with a total of 19 driver assistance technologies for the benefit of customers.

The new 2022 Ford Tourneo Connect is the obvious choice for customers who want a vehicle with a flexible interior. For example, the car's seven seats can be adjusted with the option to choose between two different seat lengths.

The car's seven seats can accommodate both the large family but can be transformed in a flash as the second and third row of seats can be folded or obliterated to create space for, for example, sports equipment or work equipment. The front seats can also be folded, which means that the car can accommodate equipment up to three meters long.

When the seats in the second and third rows of seats are removed, Tourneo Connect offers a load volume of up to 3.1 m³ in the L2 model and a load volume of 2.6 m³ in the L1 model. Therefore, it is also possible to have space for equipment measuring over 2.5 m (2,265 mm) behind the front row of seats, over almost 1.5 m (1,452 mm) behind the second row of seats, and 62.9 cm behind the third row in the L2 model (in the L1 model, these dimensions are 1,913 mm, 1,100 mm and 317 mm, respectively).

The new interior elevates cabin comfort without compromising on the practicality that Tourneo Connect customers love. The big sliding doors on each side of the car make it easy for both children and older people to move in and out of the car; there are plenty of cup holders, charging sockets, for e.g., charging your phone, while it is also possible to choose panoramic glass roofs and dual-zone air conditioning.

In the Trend, Titanium, and Active models, it is also possible for customers to specify the ergonomic seats with extended leg-rest as well as electric adjustment of the backrest in four different settings.

Like Ford's latest passenger cars, the new Tourneo Connect also has a bold and expressive design that gives each variant a recognizable distinctiveness.

Ford's SUV-inspired Active series comes in 10 different colors with, among other things, the new 'Boundless Blue' metal paint. In addition, the series comes with unique 17" alloy wheels with a two-tone finish of dark.

All Tourneo Connect models have a large, user-friendly touchscreen that is 8.25-inch as standard but can also be selected in 10-inch. The 10-inch touchscreen will also be standard in the Titanium, Sport, and Active models. These models also include a FordPass Connect modem that helps customers stay up to date on the go.

All 19 driver assistance technologies are included in the Tourneo Connect and help to make driving more comfortable, less demanding, and, above all, safer. 

2022 Ford Tourneo Connect has an expected fuel consumption of 20.4 km / l and CO2 emission of 127 g / km. The car's 1.5 liter EcoBoost petrol engine has 114 hp and a torque of 220 Nm and is combined with two more EcoBlue diesel engines with 122 hp and a torque of 320 Nm or 112 hp and a torque of 280 Nm.

All models have a standard six-speed manual gearbox that provides fast and smooth gear changes while driving.

As mentioned, this is the first time a Tourneo Connect can benefit from a four-wheel drive. The four-wheel drive is available on models equipped with a 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel engine with 122 hp and a six-speed manual gearbox.

The new Ford Tourneo Connect can be ordered from the summer of 2022. Official prices will be announced closer to launch. @via Car Division.
