The Attorney General’s Office says Dameron should receive a pardon because his actions were “substantially impeded by mental and psychological conditions.”
The opinion letter — obtained by WREG — is dated June 17 and addressed to Senior Assistant Attorney General Jerry Buffington in Columbus, who heads up the office’s pardon section.
